About This English PYQ Book
RBSE class 10 English previous year question paper PDF
If you're preparing for the RBSE Class 10 board exam, you already know how important it is to practise with real questions. Textbook exercises are helpful, but what the board actually asks in the exam is a different story. That's exactly why we put this PDF together.
We went through 13 years of RBSE Class 10 English board papers — from 2013 all the way to 2026 — and sorted every single question by chapter. So instead of hunting through old papers one by one, you get all the Unseen Passage questions in one place, all the Grammar questions together, all the First Flight questions chapter by chapter. It saves you hours and makes your revision a lot more focused.
What's inside the PDF
The book covers all 7 sections of the RBSE Class 10 English paper:
Chapter 1 — Unseen Passages
This section is free to download. Unseen passages come in every board exam, and the style of questions — what they ask, how many marks, what kind of answers they expect — follows a clear pattern once you've seen enough of them. This chapter gives you that pattern.
Chapter 2 — Writing
Letters, applications, paragraphs, notices — the writing section feels open-ended, but the board repeats the same formats year after year. We've collected every writing question asked since 2013 so you can see exactly which formats show up most often.
Chapter 3 — Grammar
Grammar questions in RBSE Class 10 English are straightforward if you know what to expect. Tenses, voices, reported speech, articles, prepositions — this chapter groups all past grammar questions so you can practise each type without jumping between papers.
Chapter 4 — First Flight: Prose Seen Passages
The seen passage questions from First Flight prose chapters come with marks attached for comprehension and vocabulary. This chapter pulls all of them together from 2013 to 2026, so you can see which paragraphs the board keeps coming back to.
Chapter 5 — First Flight: Stanzas (Poetry)
Poetry stanza questions trip up a lot of students because they look unfamiliar in the exam. Once you've read through how the board phrases these questions across 13 years, the pattern becomes obvious. Chapter 5 covers all stanza-based questions from the First Flight poems.
Chapter 6 — First Flight: Questions
Short answer and long answer questions from the First Flight prose and poem chapters — organised lesson by lesson. These carry significant marks in the board exam, and certain questions repeat across years more than students realise.
Chapter 7 — Footprints Without Feet
The supplementary reader is worth more marks than most students give it credit for. This chapter covers all questions from the Footprints Without Feet stories asked in RBSE board exams from 2013 to 2026.
Why chapterwise instead of year-wise?
Most PYQ collections give you full papers year by year. That's fine for a mock test, but it's not great when you want to revise a specific topic. If you're weak on grammar or you want to nail the Footprints Without Feet section before the exam, flipping through 13 complete papers to find those questions wastes time you don't have.
Sorting by chapter means you can sit down, open Chapter 3, and do two hours of focused grammar practice using nothing but real board questions. That's a much smarter way to study in the last few weeks before the exam.
Who is this for?
This PDF is useful whether you're starting your board prep early or doing a last-minute revision push. If you've finished your NCERT chapters and want to test yourself with real questions — this is the next step. If your exams are two weeks away and you want to cover the highest-weightage topics quickly — start with the chapters that scare you most.
It works on your phone, tablet, or laptop. After purchase, download it once and keep it on your device — no internet needed when you're actually studying.
