About This Maths PYQ Book

Most students work through previous year papers the hard way — download 2019, solve it, download 2020, solve that. Fourteen papers later they still haven't noticed that the same question keeps coming back.

Here's one that does. "If A and B are independent events with P(A) = 0.2 and P(B) = 0.5, find P(A ∪ B)." The board has asked it in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2026. Solving papers year by year, you'd meet it four separate times across four separate sittings and never register the pattern. Open the Probability chapter in this book and it's one entry with four years printed next to it.

That's the whole idea. Every RBSE Class 12 Maths board question from 2013 to 2026 — 457 of them — pulled out of fourteen papers and regrouped by chapter. Each one carries its mark value and the year or years it was asked.

The chapter grouping also makes the shape of the paper obvious in a way that year-by-year study never does. Calculus — Continuity and Differentiability through Differential Equations — accounts for 190 of the 457 questions, about 42% of everything the board has asked. Integrals alone is 72 questions, more than Linear Programming, Probability and Applications of Integrals combined. Vector Algebra is 58. Students who divide their revision evenly across thirteen chapters are giving Applications of Integrals, with its 10 questions, the same time as Integrals with 72.

All 13 chapters of the rationalised NCERT syllabus are covered, from Relations and Functions (संबंध एवं फलन) through Probability (प्रायिकता). Each chapter is a separate PDF. Both Hindi medium and English medium are available — you choose your medium at checkout and get the full set in that language.

The book follows the board's own section structure: Section A for one-mark MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks and very short answers, Section B for two-mark questions, Section C for three-mark, Section D for the four, five and six-mark long answers. So you can practise by mark value as well as by topic — useful when you've got an hour and want to drill only the 1-markers.

What this book is not: it doesn't include worked solutions. It's a question bank, meant to be used alongside your NCERT and your teacher's notes. Solutions are in development and aren't ready yet. If step-by-step answers are what you need right now, this isn't the right purchase.

Start with the multi-year tags. Any question showing two or more years is one the board returns to. In Application of Derivatives, the marginal revenue question — R(x) = 13x² + 26x + 15, find marginal revenue at x = 7 — carries 2023, 2025 and 2026. In Integrals, ∫(e²ˣ−1)/(e²ˣ+1)dx carries 2014, 2016 and 2019. If you have one evening before the exam, these are the evening.

Weight your time by the counts. 72 questions in Integrals and 10 in Applications of Integrals is not a rounding difference. Give Chapter 7 several sittings and Chapter 8 one.

Practise by mark value. The Section A / B / C / D structure means you can drill only 1-markers when you're short on time, or work through Section D when you have two clear hours. Most students under-practise the 5 and 6-mark questions because they're the ones that take real time.

Attempt before you check. No answers are printed, which is deliberate. Solve it closed-book, then verify against your NCERT.

Frequently Asked Questions

Integrals, with 72 board questions between 2013 and 2026 — more than any other chapter. Vector Algebra is next at 58, followed by Continuity and Differentiability at 42. Matrices and Differential Equations have 41 each. The smallest chapter is Applications of Integrals with 10. Across all 13 chapters the book contains 457 questions from 14 board sessions.
Roughly 42%. Chapters 5 to 9 — Continuity and Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Integrals, Applications of Integrals and Differential Equations — account for 190 of the 457 questions asked between 2013 and 2026. Vector Algebra and Three Dimensional Geometry together contribute 91 questions (about 20%), Algebra 71, Relations and Functions 51, Probability 34 and Linear Programming 20.
Yes. Questions from the RBSE 2026 paper are included and tagged by year, alongside every session going back to 2013 — 14 papers in total.
No. It's a question bank without worked solutions, built for practice alongside your NCERT and class notes. Solutions are in development and aren't included yet. If step-by-step answers are what you need right now, this book won't meet that need on its own.
Yes — any question the board has asked more than once carries every year it appeared. One Probability question on independent events (P(A) = 0.2, P(B) = 0.5) is tagged 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2026, so it has come up in four separate sittings. In Application of Derivatives, the marginal revenue question R(x) = 13x² + 26x + 15 carries 2023, 2025 and 2026.
Not on its own. Previous year questions show you what the board asks and how it phrases things, but they don't teach the underlying method — for that you need your NCERT and your teacher's explanations. The realistic sequence is: learn the chapter from NCERT, then use PYQs to find out which parts of it the board actually tests and how often. Students who skip straight to PYQs tend to recognise questions without being able to solve unfamiliar variations.
Yes, in both Hindi and English medium. You select your medium before checkout and receive all 13 chapters as separate PDFs in that language. The Hindi edition uses the same wording and terminology as the board's own Hindi question papers.
Chapter 1, Relations and Functions, is free to download in either medium with no payment and no account. The complete 13-chapter set costs ₹59, reduced from ₹99.
Solving papers year by year shows you one exam at a time; chapter-wise sorting shows you the pattern across all of them. The same Probability question appearing in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2026 is invisible if you work through four papers on four different days, and obvious when all fourteen years of that chapter sit on one page. Chapter-wise grouping also reveals where the marks concentrate — 72 questions in Integrals against 10 in Applications of Integrals — which year-by-year study never surfaces.
By the board's own section structure. Section A holds one-mark MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks and very short answers; Section B the two-mark questions; Section C the three-mark; Section D the four, five and six-mark long answers. Every question shows its mark value and the year it was asked, so you can practise by mark value as well as by topic.
